Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Exam Date for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) September Examination 2026 on its official website. The exam will be conducted on 12 โ€“ 13 December 2026. and the last date to submit the application form was 01 September 2026. Candidates can also check their Exam Date by using their Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth by logging into the portal. The direct link is provided below.

Eligibility

Level Eligibility Criteria
Level-1 (Class 1-5)
  • Senior Secondary (Class 12) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
  • Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year D.El.Ed., as per NCTE regulations.
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed.
  • Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Level-2 (Class 6-8)
  • Graduation and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2-year D.El.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed., as per NCTE regulations.
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education)
  • Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks and passed/appearing in the final year of 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
