The Embassy of India in Astana is India's diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan. Its Administration Division, which handles this recruitment, is on the 10th Floor, 62 A, Kosmonavtov, Astana. The Marketing Assistant will work on the Embassy's trade and commercial work, including trade between India and Kazakhstan.

Duties of the Marketing Assistant

• Working with local trade organisations, associations and government Ministries on events for trade promotion, tourism, business conferences and similar work
• Writing reports on the Embassy's commercial events
• Collecting and analysing statistics on trade between India and Kazakhstan
• Replying to trade and commercial questions from Indian and Kazakh traders
• Translating and interpreting official documents
• Helping official delegations during their visits to Astana
• Any other suitable duties the Embassy gives

Embassy of India Astana Marketing Assistant Eligibility 2026

Age limit: Between 21 and 35 years.

Mandatory qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent Diploma
• Fluency (both oral and written) in English, Russian and Kazakh
• Good computer skills, including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and email
• Good administrative, organisational and time management abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Preferred

• Specialisation in Marketing or Business Administration
• 3 to 5 years of previous experience in similar work

Work permit condition

Only candidates who hold a Local Work Permit, Resident Visa or similar document will be considered. The document must comply with local rules for working in foreign diplomatic missions.
