The remuneration stays the same for the whole contract. There is no annual increment or percentage increase.

CRCS Consultant Eligibility 2026

Age limit

You must not be older than 62 years at the time of applying.

Qualification (mandatory)

• You must have retired, or be about to retire, from a post of at least Assistant Section Officer in the CSS or a Non-CSS cadre.

Experience required

• Good experience of handling Court Cases, VIP Matters, Establishment, Budget & Account, Parliament, RTI and other work of Central Ministries or Departments.
• Good knowledge of the Central Government rules and regulations for this work.
• Good working knowledge of computers, including MS-Word, MS-Excel, PowerPoint and e-Office.
• Good knowledge of independent noting and drafting on computer or e-Office, as Central Government Ministries require.

Desirable

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
• The notice says the candidate should preferably live in Delhi NCR.

Duties of the Consultant

The Consultant will deal with Court Cases, VIP Matters and Finance. The Consultant will also help run the office's day-to-day work across its areas of activity, in line with its mandate.

Selection Process

Candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or for joining the post.

Service Conditions

• The terms follow Department of Expenditure Office Memorandum No. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09.12.2020.
• The engagement is purely on contract. It does not count as re-employment.
• The first term is one year. It may be extended after review, at the sole discretion of the Office or Ministry.
• The post is full-time. During the contract you may not take any other assignment in a public or private organisation.
• The place of work is the CRCS office at World Trade Centre, Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi.
• There is no accommodation and no allowance, including Dearness Allowance, transport, residential accommodation, personal staff, CGHS and medical reimbursement.
• There is no Provident Fund, pension, insurance or gratuity.
• Leave is 1.5 days for each completed month. Leave cannot be carried beyond a calendar year, unused leave is not paid for, and no single spell of leave may be longer than three days.
• The Department can end the engagement at any time without notice or reason. The Consultant can resign by giving 15 days' notice or paying the consultancy fee instead.
• The Consultant must keep the Department's information confidential, avoid conflicts of interest and keep absolute integrity. The Department may review the Consultant's work at any time.
• If any information you give turns out to be false, or you hide a material fact, you can be removed from the engagement.
• The Department is not responsible for any loss, accidental damage or injury that happens during the work, including travel.

• A signed declaration that you accept the general terms and conditions
