Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains what information RojgarSetu (rojgarsetu.in, "we", "us") collects, why, and what choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

Information you give us

• Job alerts: your email address, Telegram chat ID or browser push address, and the states, qualifications, departments, post types and language you choose. Email subscriptions need you to click a confirmation link first, and every alert carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your subscription.
• Contact form: your name, email address and message, so we can read and reply. We also keep a salted, one-way hash of your IP address, used only to limit spam; it cannot be turned back into your IP address.

Information collected automatically

• Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting.
• We count how many times each post is viewed. This is a simple total per post and is not linked to you.
• We do not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.

Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. A sign-in cookie is used only by our staff in the admin area.

If we start showing ads (for example Google AdSense), the ad provider and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show and measure ads. You can manage this at https://adssettings.google.com and read how Google uses data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. We will update this page, and ask for consent where the law requires it, before ads are shown.

Our tools

Files you open in the image and PDF tools are processed inside your own browser. They are not uploaded to our servers.

How we use information

• To send the job alerts you asked for.
• To read and reply to your messages and to fix errors.
• To keep the site secure and working.
• To understand which content is useful, using the simple view totals above.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run the site, and only as needed: web and server hosting, an email delivery service for alerts and confirmations, Telegram and browser push services if you choose those channels, and Microsoft Azure OpenAI, which processes the text of public job notices to help write summaries and translations (not your personal data). We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle them. Server logs are kept by our hosting providers under their own schedules.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from alerts at any time using the link in an alert or the alerts page.
• Ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you through the Contact page. We handle these requests as required by applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Children

RojgarSetu is meant for job seekers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and keep access to our systems restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not share sensitive details with us.

Posts link to official and other external websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
