Who Can Apply for UPPSC Recruitment 2026?
Other conditions:
Mandatory to make One Time Registration (O.T.R.) before applying online.
Caste certificates for women candidates from father side only will be treated valid.
Reservation benefits applicable only to permanent residents of U.P.
Desirable:
Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years
Obtained a 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps

Preliminary Examination

Document Verification
Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the examination.
UPPSC Exam Pattern 2026
Negative marking: one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty for wrong answers.
Minimum efficiency standard is 35% for SC and ST, and 40% for other categories.

How to Apply for UPPSC Recruitment 2026 Online
Visit the commission's website https://uppsc.up.nic.in and complete One Time Registration (O.T.R.).
Click on 'Apply' and authenticate with O.T.R.
Fill essential qualifications and submit details in Application Part-2.
Pay the application fee through SBI MOPS and take print of Payment Transaction Slip and Application Form.
Apply on or before 4 December 2026.
Other Points to Note
Candidates must ensure preservation of information of all stages for future references.
Hard copy of documents should not be sent to the commission at the preliminary exam stage.
