About Unnao District Court

District Court Unnao is the district judiciary of Unnao in Uttar Pradesh, under the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad. This re-employment drive is conducted by the Selection Committee chaired by the District Judge, Unnao, in compliance with the Allahabad High Court's C.L. No. 14/Admin. (D) Section dated 15.10.2022.

Where and How to Send

Applicants must fill in the prescribed application format attached to the notice and submit it at the Administrative Office (Prashasnik Karyalaya), District Court, Unnao by 5:00 PM on 17 November 2026. The notice does not mention submission by post or email.

The application form, titled "Application for employment on vacant posts to be filled through re-employment of retired employees in District Court Unnao", asks for:

• Name of the post applied for
• Applicant's name, father's / husband's name and date of birth
• Date of retirement, and the last post held and the District Court from which the applicant retired
• Photo identity card details (identity card / Aadhaar card / other valid ID)
• Permanent address and temporary address
• Mobile number and email ID
• Educational qualification

The form ends with an undertaking, signed by the applicant with the date and the place (Unnao).

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Who Can Apply

• Retired Class III employees of the District Court (Janpad Nyayalaya), for re-employment.
• The applicant should be physically and mentally fit.
• The applicant's character roll for the past 5 years should be correct.
• No criminal or civil case should be pending and registered against the applicant.

The official notification does not specify the minimum educational qualification; the form only asks applicants to state theirs. Candidates should check the official notification for the full eligibility for the post.

Pay

The pay for the post is the last drawn pay the applicant received on the post concerned, from which the pension amount is deducted; the balance is paid as an honorarium.

Terms of Re-employment

• The tenure runs for 1 year from the date of joining, or until the post is filled by direct recruitment or promotion, or until the employee completes 65 years of age, whichever is earlier.
• The appointment will be fully temporary and may be terminated without any prior notice if service is not found satisfactory.

Enclosures

• A copy of the last pay drawn and the pension order (mandatory with the application form).
• The undertaking printed on the form, signed by the applicant.

In the undertaking, the applicant declares that he or she is physically fit and capable of working on the post in District Court Unnao; that, to his or her knowledge, no penalty or entry has been given during service that would bar re-employment; that no criminal proceedings are pending against him or her; that no criminal or civil suit against or relating to him or her is pending in District Court Unnao; and that all information given is true, accepting full responsibility and any action if it is found false.

Selection Process

The applicant's past record and ACR will be the basis of appointment. The notice also requires the applicant's character roll for the last 5 years to be correct.

Important Instructions

• Applications received after 5:00 PM on 17 November 2026 will not be considered.
• The notice is to be circulated among retired employees of the District Court and pasted on the court notice board.
• The notice is to be uploaded on the websites of District Court Unnao and the High Court.
• A copy has been sent to the District Information Officer, Unnao, for free publication in at least two daily newspapers.
