The Department of Biochemistry, School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad, has invited applications from Indian nationals for one Project Assistant post in the ANRF-sponsored research project "Linking Mitochondrial Nucleoid Remodeling to Dysfunction of Macrophage Intrinsic Immune Responses to Intracellular Gram-positive and Gram-Negative Bacterial Infections". The pay is INR 27,000 + HRA (30%, INR 8,100) for one year, subject to renewal. Applicants need an M.Sc/MTech. in natural sciences/Engineering, or Bachelors in Science/Engineering with three years' experience. Desirable Qualifications

• Strong expertise and knowledge of organic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, chemical biology, biophysical chemistry and fluorescence spectroscopy.
• OR experience, expertise and strong foundation in either: microbiology/cell biology/molecular biology techniques, biochemistry, immunohistochemistry, RNA preparation, RNA based manipulation, confocal imaging, image analysis including AIML, FACS, tissue culture.

Experience

Work experience in a reputed research laboratory or strong, demonstrated expertise in relevant areas.

Age Limit

The age limit is 35 Years. The notice prints no cut-off date for age and no age relaxation.
