ESIC Jajmau Recruitment 2026 – Walkin for 28 Specialist, Senior Resident and More Posts

The walk-in interview is on 19 November 2026 from 09:30 AM to 03:00 PM at ESIC Hospital Jajmau, Kanpur Nagar-208010, and candidates must fix a prior appointment before appearing. ESIC Hospital Jajmau is engaging 10 Full Time/Part Time Contractual Specialists and 18 Senior Residents (28 posts in all) against GDMO. Full time Specialists are paid Rs. 1,41,899 or Rs. 1,65,165 monthly consolidated, and Senior Residents Rs 67,700 as per Level 11. The notice also says the interview is held on the 08th of every month if posts remain vacant.

Posts and Eligibility

Full Time / Part Time Contractual Specialist

• Vacancies: 10, with reservation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules of Central Govt. of India. 3% seats are reserved for physical handicapped persons as per rules.
• Accident & Emergency (A & E) Department Specialist: MBBS degree, followed by a post graduate degree like an MD or MS in Emergency Medicine, or a similar specialty like Internal Medicine, Anesthesia or General Surgery, with 3 (three) years' experience after acquiring the PG Degree / OR minimum of 5 (Five) years' post diploma experience.
• Age: shall not exceed 69 years on the date of interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman as per rules.
• Term: three years with annual evaluation, renewed every year on satisfactory performance for full time on contract basis, or till regular specialists join, whichever is earlier.
• If no eligible candidate is available for a vacant Specialist post, a part time specialist may be considered for a period of 44 days irrespective of category.

Specialist Pay

Full time Specialists are also entitled to transport allowance with DA on TA as per rules. As and when DA increases by the GOI, the salary will increase accordingly.

Senior Resident (3 Years Residency Scheme)

• Vacancies: 18, with reservation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules of Central Govt. of India. 3% seats are reserved for physical handicapped persons as per rules.
• Age: not exceeding 45 years on the date of interview. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman as per rules.
• Pay: Rs 67,700/- as per Level - 11 of 7 th CPC matrix + other allowances subject to instructions received from ESIC Hqrs. Office from time to time. It would be reduced by Rs. 1350/- for Diploma holder.
• Term: three years on tenure basis (extendable every year), under the residency scheme, as per the annual objective evaluation sheet of work performance of the concerned H.O.D.

• SMC/MCI Registration Certificate
• Proof of educational qualification (MBBS, Diploma/Degree Certificate)
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Caste Certificate/No Creamy Layer Certificate
• Experience certificate
• Two photographs (PP size)

Candidates are also advised to bring their application/Bio data and original certificates along with one extra Xerox copy. A candidate in Government service must submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview.

The fee is a non-refundable Demand Draft in favour of "ESI FUND ACCOUNT NO. 1" payable at State Bank of India Kanpur, UP.

What Happens on the Day

Candidates appear for the walk-in interview at the hospital on 19 November 2026. The decision of the selection board is final on all aspects of selection, and no further correspondence is entertained.

Important Instructions

• The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased as per requirement without any prior notice.
• No TA/DA is admissible for the walk-in interview or for joining the post.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to fill up all or not to fill up any post.
• Selected candidates have no claim for regularization of service; the recruitment is purely on contract basis, and the appointment gives no right or preference for regular appointment.
• No claim for service benefits such as PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion etc. Hostel accommodation, quarters and uniform are not provided.
• Selected candidates must join within 07 days from the date of receipt of the selection order.
• Candidates must be registered with Uttar Pradesh Medical Council or MCI before joining the post.
• OBC candidates claiming reservation or age relaxation must submit the community certificate in the Annexure 'A' format prescribed by Government of India, DoPT OM No.36036/2/2013-Estt (Res) dated 30.05.2014. Otherwise the benefit is not given, or the application is rejected, and the candidate is treated as "General Category".
• Candidates seeking SC/ST/OBC reservation must be entitled to it and hold the required certificates in the prescribed format.
