RCB Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 2 Field Worker, Senior Research Fellow Posts

Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad, is filling one Field Worker position (Rs.18000/- + 27% HRA per month, Graduate Degree in any discipline, age limit 50 Years) and one Senior Research Fellow position (Rs. 42000/- + 27% HRA per month) on the project "Mechanistic studies SUMOylation and Salmonella intracellular pathogenesis". The duration is 10 months from November 2026 or till the duration of the project end date. Who Can Apply

Field Worker

Essential: Graduate Degree in any discipline. Desirable qualifications are listed below.

• Overall good academic background with research experience of handling biological specimen.
• Prior research experience (experimental exposure as a part of research project or dissertation) in the field of gut inflammation.
• Experience in handling Salmonella related work and conducting experiments related to gut inflammation.
• Experience in microbial and molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, mass-spectrometry etc.

Senior Research Fellow

Essential: Post Graduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in professional courses selected through a process described through any one of the following:

• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
• The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. Research experience of minimum 2 years.

Desirable: overall good academic background with prior research experience (research experience of minimum 2 years) in relevant field, as detailed below.

• Experience in the area of working in Post translational modification (PTM), specifically SUMOylation.
• Experienced in handling cell lines.
• Experience in inflammation related assays and gut inflammation.
• Experience in handling molecular microbiology assays.
• Experience in molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, mass-spectrometry etc.

Pay and Tenure

The Field Worker is paid Rs.18000/- plus 27% HRA per month, and the Senior Research Fellow Rs. 42000/- plus 27% HRA per month. The notice lists these as emoluments. The project runs for 10 months from November 2026 or till the duration of the project end date.
