Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Hospital (PMMMH), Govt. of NCT of Delhi, will hold a walk-in interview on 12 November 2026 (Thursday). Candidates must report at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor, Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Hospital, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-17, between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM; no candidate will be entertained after 11:00 AM. The interview is for 8 Senior Resident posts on an emergent ad hoc basis (Advt. No. 14/2026) in Radiology, Anesthesia, ENT, Surgery and Obs & Gynae, on Basic Pay in Level-11 as per the 7th Pay Commission. In the vacancy table all 8 posts appear under the OBC column.

About the Hospital

Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Hospital is a hospital of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi at Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017. The notice is issued by the Office of the Medical Superintendent. The posts are filled on an emergent ad hoc basis until regular candidates are selected by the Centralized Committee for recruitment of Resident Doctors. Posts and Eligibility

Qualification and conditions for all five specialties

• MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognized by Medical Council of India.
• If a PG candidate is not available, a Non-PG candidate with at least two years experience in the concerned specialty in a Govt./Govt. empanelled hospital will be considered.
• Registered with Delhi Medical Council; only a qualification incorporated in DMC will be considered.
• Has not completed three years Senior Residency.
• Must be a citizen of India.

Age limit

The age limit is 45 years, counted as on the date of interview. For Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), relaxation is admissible as per Govt. of India rules on submission of a Handicapped Certificate from the competent authority.

Pay

All five posts carry Basic Pay in Level-11 as per the 7th Pay Commission. The notice prints no rupee amount.

If resident doctors are not available, the relaxed eligibility criteria in circular no. F. No. 121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10.06.2011 of Health & Family Welfare, under the Residency Scheme order dated 1992, will be observed for filling the vacant post. This applies to all the Senior Resident posts.

• The hospital shall fix the duties and responsibilities of all SRs and JRs from time to time.
• They will be required to perform such work as may be needed in the legitimate interest of patient care.

What to Bring

Bring all original certificates and testimonials, with self attested copies of all documents, and five passport size photographs. Registering through the Google Form generates an email with a pre-filled application form; bring its printout with the photocopy and original of these documents:

What Happens on the Day

1. Report between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM with the required documents. The notice says entry will not be allowed after 11:00 AM.
2. Take part in the walk-in interview, which is held as per schedule.
3. The decision of the Selection Board/Medical Superintendent PMMMH regarding selection is final and binding, and no representation will be entertained.
4. A panel of waitlisted candidates will be prepared for filling Senior Resident vacancies arising in future.
5. The result will be declared on the website of Deptt. of H & FW, GNCT Delhi.
6. Selected candidates must join duties within 07 days of receiving the offer of appointment, after completion of medical formalities.

How to Register

Registration for the interview is through the Google Form link in the notice. The form can only be filled through that link, which is valid from the date of publication of the advertisement. Immediately after submission the candidate receives an auto-generated email containing the pre-filled application form. No physical application will be accepted.

Terms of Appointment

• The appointment is initially for 89 days, or till a regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier. Extension is subject to satisfactory work conduct report and vacancy.
• If reserved candidates are not available, posts earmarked for them shall be filled from General/Unreserved candidates on adhoc basis for 44 days. The same applies when SC/ST/OBC candidates are not available.
• Service will be governed by the Residency Scheme of Govt. of India and Civil Services (Temporary Rules 1978).
• Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of certificates of educational qualifications, age, caste, DMC registration and internship completion.
• Selected candidates are allowed a maximum of 07 days for joining from the date of acceptance, failing which the offer stands cancelled.

Important Instructions

• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Only OBC (Delhi) candidates notified by Govt. of NCT of Delhi vide letter/order No. F.19(10)/2001/S-III/Pt.File/2278- 2285 dated 27/07/2007 and No. F.19(01)/2012/S.IV/1241-1258 dated 28/07/2016 get reservation or age relaxation under OBC. OBC (Outside) candidates are treated as Un-reserved and must apply under UR category.
• OBC candidates must hold a non-creamy layer certificate along with the caste certificate on or before the cut off date.
• Only two types of OBC certificates are accepted: (A) an OBC certificate (Delhi) issued by the Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi on the basis of an old certificate issued to a family member from GNCT of Delhi; (B) an OBC certificate issued by a competent authority outside Delhi to a person from a community notified as OBC by GNCT of Delhi, issued on the basis of an OBC certificate given by GNCT of Delhi to a family member who was residing in Delhi before 08/09/1993.
• If any declaration or information is found false, or any material fact is suppressed willfully, the candidature or appointment will be cancelled or terminated forthwith.
• The hospital reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, or withdraw the process in full or part, without assigning reasons or giving notice.
• In case of legal disputes the jurisdiction of court will be Delhi/New Delhi only. The Competent Authority reserves the right to decide any dispute about the selection process.
