About SOTTO Karnataka (Jeevasarthakathe)

The State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation, Karnataka, known as SOTTO – Jeevasarthakathe, works under the Department of Health and Family Welfare Services of the Government of Karnataka. Where and How to Send

The SOTTO Karnataka IT Consultant application is submitted as a hard copy, along with the enclosures listed in the notice, either in person or by post. The notice does not print an application form or say that one is available.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc in Computer Science / Information Technology / Data Science / Statistics / Electronics, OR
• MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science / Information Technology / Data Science,
• from a recognised university. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed full-time regular courses.

Experience

Minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience in web development, data analysis, IT consulting or AI-based application development, including preparation of reports.

Mandatory Portfolio

A portfolio of at least 02 working solutions (e.g., dashboard, website, automation tool, analytical report) developed using Generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.

Desirable

• Certification in Artificial Intelligence.
• Working knowledge of the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act, 1994 (THOTA) and the Rules thereunder.

Language

Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking Kannada and English.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 45 years, counted as on the last date. The SSLC marks card is the proof of date of birth. The notice does not mention any age relaxation.

Pay and Terms

The IT Consultant gets a consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month. The post is filled on a purely temporary and contractual basis up to 31.03.2027, and the contract may be renewed based on performance and requirement. The engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right to regular appointment or regularisation.

Selection Process

Selection for the SOTTO Karnataka IT Consultant post will be based on merit, relevant experience and performance in the interview. The interview will include a demonstration of the portfolio. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview, and only selected candidates will be communicated thereafter; all others shall be treated as not selected. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
