ERNET India (an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. of India) intends to fill the post of Registrar & CPO in Pay Matrix Level-13 (7th CPC) on deputation basis for three years. Who Can Apply

Officers who meet one of the two service conditions below, and whose services can be spared immediately upon selection, may apply.

• A person working on analogous posts in Govt/ PSUs/ Autonomous bodies on regular basis; OR
• A person working in Pay Matrix Level-12 (as per 7th CPC) and having 5 years regular service in the grade and equivalent field.
• Essential qualification: Graduate.

Desirable

• PG Diploma in Personnel/Finance and experience in the field of Personnel/Administration.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation is 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. The notice does not print a minimum age.

Pay and Terms

The post is in Pay Matrix Level-13 (as per the 7th CPC) on deputation basis for a period of three years. The period of deputation, including any deputation held against another ex-cadre post immediately preceding this appointment in the same or any other organisation, shall ordinarily not exceed five years, subject to the applicable Recruitment Rules and Government instructions.

The pay and other terms and conditions of deputation are governed by the applicable instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), including O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time, wherever applicable.

The advertisement was published on 24 October 2026 (EN No. 30/90), so the last date for receipt is 23 November 2026.

1. Fill the prescribed Performa (Annexure-I), which carries the application for the post of Registrar & CPO on "Deputation basis" against Advt. No. EI-D-PA001/2/2026-PA dated 24.10.2026.
2. Serving Central Govt./State Govt./PSU/Autonomous body staff get the form certified by the present employer in the section at the end of Annexure-I.
3. Forward the application through proper channel; only applications received through proper channel will be considered.
4. If the application through proper channel is likely to be delayed, send an advance copy separately within the same period.

• Attested APARs/ACRs for the last five years.
• Vigilance Clearance Certificate and Disciplinary Clearance/Integrity Certificate, as applicable.
• Latest copy of Aadhar Card/PAN card for identification.
• Latest and updated Resume/CV.
• Recent passport size photo, affixed on the form.
• Additional information in support of suitability, on a separate sheet if necessary (optional item 11 of the form).

Important Instructions

• Applications received after the prescribed closing date or without the requisite documents and clearances shall not be considered.
• Officers who apply for the post shall not be permitted to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
