Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Entomology with 55% marks and NET/GATE. Desirable: Candidates with research experience in the Entomology field.
• Experience: Desirable: research experience in the Entomology field
• Age limit: Maximum 35 years (on the last date of submission of application)
• Age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, PH 5 years, In-service candidates of agricultural universities Up to 45 years

Other conditions:

• Must sign a declaration of secrecy and Non-Disclosure agreement before reporting
• Must execute an agreement on a Non-judicial Stamped paper of Rs. 15/- before joining
• Medical certificate of fitness from the CMO of the University required at the time of joining

Desirable:

• Candidates with research experience in the Entomology field

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Duration of post up to 31st March, 2027 and extendable upto duration of the project
• Appointment co-terminus with the project
• Maximum duration of engagement is 2 years / duration of research project whichever is earlier
• Not a regular employee; no CPF/GPF or other benefits of regular employees
• Selected candidate may leave after one month notice in writing to the University
• Services liable to be terminated on non-release of funds by the Funding agency

• Interview on 20.11.2026 at 11.00 AM in the office of Director of Research, CCS HAU, Hisar
• No separate letter for interview will be issued
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Other Points to Note

• No application received after 19.11.2026 upto 4.00 PM will be entertained for any reason
• Selected candidate must report for duty within 10 days of issue of appointment order, failing which appointment will be treated as cancelled
• May be deputed on tour by the HOD/PI and entitled to conveyance charges/DA equal to Grade-IV employees under CCS HAU TA rules
• No adjustment on any other university post after the project ends
