RCB Senior Project Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad, is filling one Senior Project Assistant position on the project "Development and evaluation of a circular mRNA vaccine formulation against the Hepatitis C virus", at a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 30,600 per month for a duration of up to 6 months, extendable depending on performance till the project duration. Candidates with an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or equivalent who have qualified a National Level JRF eligibility test such as NET, GATE or GPAT, and are below 32 years, must apply online by 25 November 2026, 5:00 PM. The online interview is at 10:00 AM on 7 December 2026.

Who Can Apply

Essential Qualification

M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or equivalent, with a National Level JRF eligibility test such as NET, GATE, GPAT, etc., qualified. Candidates with 2 years of experience in organic synthesis, purification and characterization will be preferred.

Desirable Qualification

• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge in organic synthesis and in separation/purification techniques such as distillation, crystallization, extraction and chromatography.
• Experience in operating equipment used for chemical synthesis and purification, and in interpreting spectral data from techniques such as NMR, MS, IR and HPLC.
• Knowledge of safe lab practices and SOPs.
• Hardworking and a team player with interpersonal skills.

Age Limit

Below 32 years. The notice does not print a date for counting age and does not list any age relaxation.
