AIIMS New Delhi Chief Dietician Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, is filling 1 post of Chief Dietician on deputation basis (mode of recruitment: Promotion/Deputation). 1. Fill the Annexure-I proforma titled "Application for the post of CHIEF DIETICIAN at AIIMS, New Delhi on deputation basis" and affix a recent coloured passport size photograph.
2. Sign the form, with the date and your address, and get it countersigned by your Employer/Authorized Officer.
3. Submit it to your present office for forwarding through proper channel.
4. The forwarding office ensures that your particulars are verified and that you fulfil the eligibility conditions.
5. The forwarding office encloses duly attested photocopies of your up-to-date APAR (at least for the latest 05 years) and states clearly that no vigilance/disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated against you.
6. Superscribe the envelope: "Application for the post of Chief Dietician on Deputation Basis".
7. Make sure the application reaches the addressee on or before 30.11.2026.

What the Annexure-I Form Asks For

• Name and address in BLOCK letters, date of birth (in Christian era) and date of retirement under Central/State Government Rules.
• Educational qualification, and a statement of the essential and desirable qualifications/experience required against those possessed by the officer (with the authority, if any qualification has been treated as equivalent).
• A clear statement of whether you meet the requirements of the post.
• Details of employment in chronological order: office/organisation, post held, from, to, pay-band and grade pay (scale of pay if pre-revised) and nature of duties.
• Nature of present employment (adhoc, temporary, quasi-permanent or permanent); if on deputation/contract, the date of initial appointment, period of appointment and the parent office/organisation.
• Whether working under Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Organization, Government undertaking or University; revised scale of pay details; total emoluments per month now drawn.
• Additional information supporting suitability, whether you belong to SC/ST/OBC, and contact numbers (office, residence, mobile) and e-mail address.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

There is one post of Chief Dietician, carrying Level-11 in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised as per 6th CPC Pay Band-3 of Rs 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs 6600/-). The upper age limit is 56 years; the notice does not print a cut-off date for age.

Grades and Sources

Officers of the Central/State/U.T. Governments or of Autonomous/Statutory bodies:

• holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
• with 5 years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level-10 as per 7th CPC (pre-revised Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-) / 08 years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level-6 as per 7th CPC (pre-revised 9300-34800 + Rs 4200/- Grade Pay) respectively;
• and possessing the qualifications and experience below.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• (i) M. Sc. (Food & Nutrition); and
• (ii) 10 years of practical experience as Dietician in a large teaching hospital and managerial experience.

Desirable

• Ph. D in Human Nutrition or Therapeutic Dietetics.

Departmental Candidates

Departmental candidates will be considered alongwith others who apply on deputation basis. If a departmental candidate is selected, it will be treated as promotion.

• Duly attested photocopies of up-to-date APAR (at least for the latest 05 years).
• Vigilance clearance: a clear statement that no vigilance/disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated against the candidate.
• A separate sheet for employment details or additional information, if the space in the form is insufficient, duly authenticated by the candidate's signature.

Important Instructions

• Applications without vigilance clearance and APAR Dossiers will not be considered.
• The period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years.
• The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions of deputation under the Department of Personnel & Training's O.M. No. 06/08/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time.
• The application must reach the addressee by 30.11.2026; the date is for receipt, not dispatch.
