These 6 posts are open only to serving officers on deputation: the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a Statutory Authority under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has invited applications under Vacancy Notice No.-24/2026 for Joint General Manager/Deputy General Manager (Signal & Telecom/ Extra Low Voltage), Joint General Manager (Project) / Deputy General Manager (Project) and Manager /Assistant Manager (Projects), with pay from Pay Level-9 to Pay Level-13 (7th CPC) and a deputation tenure of 5 years (3 years + 2 years). Eligible officers apply in the prescribed proforma through proper channel to the Dy. General Manager (HR), RLDA, New Delhi, and may also email the application; the last date is 5 December 2026 till 17:00 hrs.

About RLDA

The Rail Land Development Authority is a Statutory Authority of the Ministry of Railways, constituted in terms of the Extraordinary Gazette Notification dated 31.10.2006, with its office at Konnectus Tower-II, Ajmeri Gate, New Delhi. The notice describes its work as land management and station re-development, contract management, finance management, and valuation and marketing. Who Can Apply

Joint General Manager/Deputy General Manager (Signal & Telecom/ Extra Low Voltage)

• JGM: Working in analogous posts, or a Group 'A' officer working on regular posts in Pay Level 13 / Level 12 of the IRSSE cadre of Indian Railways, or Electronics / Electronic & Communication / Electrical & Electronics Engineering officers having corresponding grade and 9 years Group 'A' or equivalent service on regular posts in the Signal & Telecom Cadre of Central Government / State Govt. / PSUs / Statutory Authorities.
• DGM: Working in analogous posts, or a Group A or Group B Gazetted officer working in a regular post in Pay Level 12 / Level 11 from the Electrical / Electronics / Electronic & Communication / Electrical & Electronics Engineering Cadre of S&T of Indian Railways / Central Govt. / State Govt. / Statutory Authorities.
• DGM, or: Officers having a Degree in Electronics / Electronic & Communication / Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical Engineering in the S&T Cadre of Central Govt. / State Govt. / PSUs / Statutory Authorities with 6 years of service in Group 'A'/ Group 'B' or its equivalent.
• DGM, or: Officers having a Diploma in Electronics / Electronic & Communication / Electrical & Electronics Engineering of the S&T Cadre of Central Govt. / State Govt. / PSUs / Statutory Authorities with 15 years' service.
• For PSU officers, the IDA pay scale equivalents of CDA Level-13/Level-12/Level-11 are E-6 (Rs.90000-240000), E-5 (Rs.80000-220000) and E-4 (Rs.70000-200000).

Joint General Manager (Project) / Deputy General Manager (Project)

• JGM: Working on analogous posts, or a Group 'A' officer working on regular posts in Pay Level 13/ Level 12 of Indian Railways in the Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/S&T Engineering Cadre, and 9 years Group 'A' service or its equivalent on regular basis in the Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/S&T Engineering Cadre of Central Government/State Govt./Indian Railways or its equivalent in PSUs/ Statutory Authorities.
• DGM: Working on analogous posts, or a Group 'A' or Group 'B' Gazetted officer working on regular basis in Pay Level 12/ Level 11 from the Civil/Electrical/S&T/Mechanical Engineering Cadre of Indian Railways/Central Govt./ State Govt./ PSUs/Statutory Authority, having a Degree in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with 6 years of service in Group 'A'/Group 'B' or its equivalent, or a Diploma in these branches with 15 years' experience.
• For PSU officers, the IDA pay scale equivalents of CDA Level-13/Level-12/Level-11 are E-6 (Rs.90000-240000), E-5 (Rs.80000-220000) and E-4 (Rs.70000-200000).

Manager /Assistant Manager (Projects)

• Manager: Working on an analogous post, or a Group A/Group B officer (Gaz.) working on regular basis in pay level-11/10/09/08 (7th CPC) from the Civil/Electrical/S&T/Mechanical Engineering Cadre of Indian Railways/Central Govt./State Govt./Statutory Authority & PSUs.
• Manager experience in regular cadre: for Pay level 11/10 (gazetted) or its equivalent, at least 05 years; for Pay level 09/08 (gazetted) or its equivalent, at least 10 years.
• Manager essential: Degree in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Assistant Manager: Working in the Civil/Electrical/S&T/Mechanical Engineering Cadre of Indian Railways/ Central Govt./ State Govt. on a regular post in Pay Level-7 (7th CPC) or its equivalent in PSUs/ Statutory Authorities, and having one of the following:
  • a Degree in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering; OR
  • a Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 05 years of service; OR
  • ITI or equivalent of at least 02 years duration in any Engineering branch with 10 years of service.
• For PSU officers, the IDA pay scale equivalents of CDA Level-11/Level-10/Level-08/Level-07 are E4 (Rs.70000-200000), E3 (Rs.60000-180000), E2 (Rs.50000-160000) and E1 (Rs.40000-140000).

The notice does not mention an age limit. Candidates should check the official notification for the discipline-specific eligibility of each post.

Pay and Tenure

• Terms of appointment: Normal deputation terms for all three items.
• Tenure: 5 years (3 years + 2 years). For Manager /Assistant Manager (Projects), the 4th and 5th year are extendable by VC/RLDA.
• JGM/DGM posts (Items 01 and 02): One scale higher than parent grade is permissible up to Pay Level-12, or deputation allowance if posted in the same grade.
• Item 01: Railway accommodation/Railway Passes are permissible for Railway Officers; liberal lease facility including self-lease, Conveyance Allowance/Official vehicle, liberal medical facilities, Soft furnishing allowance and electricity allowance are also available.
• Item 02: Railway accommodation, Railway Passes and TADK are permissible for Railway Officers; liberal lease facility including self-lease, Conveyance Allowance/Official Vehicle, liberal medical facilities, Soft furnishing allowance, Electricity allowance and Caretaker allowance are also available.

2. Fill in all particulars duly and clearly in the Proforma.
3. Attach self-attested copies of up-to-date APARs for the last five years.

5. An advance application with its enclosures may be sent to this office by post so as to reach on or before 5 December 2026, 17:00 hrs.
