GMCH Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

About the Project

The post is in the Department of Pediatrics of GMCH-32, Chandigarh, for an ICMR-funded clinical trial on the treatment of children with Dengue Shock Syndrome. The study, called the SPLID Trial, compares standard therapy with Plasmalyte in an open labelled randomised control trial. The Principal Investigator who signed the notice is Dr. Vidushi Mahajan (PI).

Who Can Apply

Age: The notice prints "age-30 years" with the post name. It does not print a date on which age is counted. Age relaxation will be given as per ICMR/Govt rules to SC/ST/OBC categories on production of appropriate certificate.

Pay and Tenure

• Remuneration: Rs. 29,200 per month (printed as "@29200/-per month").
• The assignment is purely on contract basis for a period of three months.
• The appointment will be made from the staff strength sanctioned under the ICMR project.
• The appointment will not vest any right to claim regular appointment, permanent absorption in GMCH 32/DHR/ICMR or continued contractual appointment.
• The contract will automatically expire on completion of three months, or earlier in case of withdrawal of support by the funding agency.
• The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof.

1. Send the application for the post of Data Entry Operator by 13 November 2026, 5:00 PM, with the documents attached in the mail. The notice does not print the email address to which the application goes.
2. Attach the documents listed below.
3. After the online application, send the hard copy of the application with self-attested photocopies of certificates to: Pediatric office, Deptt. of Pediatrics, Block D, Level 4, GMCH, Chandigarh.
4. Make sure the hard copy reaches on or before 13 November 2026 up to 5:00 p.m. If it does not, the application will not be considered, even if the candidate applied online.

Selection and Interview

Candidates will initially be shortlisted based on the qualification and the work experience. If the number of candidates is more, a written test might be taken. The interview will be held in PIA Room, Block D, Level 2, Room no. 226, GMCH, Chandigarh. The notice does not mention the interview date.

• Bring the hard copies of all certificates mailed by yourself to the interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The list of selected candidates shall also be displayed on the GMCH website.

Important Instructions
