Minimum Qualification and Experience
Officer-in-Charge: Graduate. At least 05 years of work experience in health care institutions or managerial positions.
Medical Officer: MBBS. At least 03 years of experience after internship. Additional qualifications in Medicine/Surgery are preferred.
Lab Technician: (i) B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology), or (i) Matriculation/Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (10+2) with science from a recognised institution/board and (ii) Diploma in Medical Lab Tech from a recognised institution. At least 03 years of experience as a Lab Assistant in a medical lab.
Pharmacist: (i) B Pharmacy from a recognised institute, or (i) 10+2 with science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognised board and (ii) an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India. The candidate must also be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. At least 03 years of experience.
Dental Hygienist: Diploma Holder in Dental Hygienist/Class-I DH/DORA Course (Armed Forces). At least 05 years of experience in a dental lab.

Selection Process
Candidates are selected by interview. The interview dates are tentatively in November 2026. Each candidate will be told the exact date by mobile, SMS, telephone or e-mail. Ex-servicemen get preference. No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
Service Conditions
The appointment is on a contract basis. It lasts one year for ex-servicemen and 11 months for civilian candidates.
Before signing the contract, the selected Officer-in-Charge and Medical Officer must complete 10 days of On The Job Training (OJT). They must also get a certificate from the Officer-in-Charge of the Polyclinics.

Fill in the form. Make two copies, because the application must be sent in duplicate.
Attach self-attested photocopies of your educational qualification and work experience certificates.
Send the application to OIC, ECHS Cell, Station Headquarters, Ajmer. It must arrive by 8 November 2026. Applications received after that date will not be accepted.

Q1. Where will the selected candidates work?
The Officer-in-Charge and Medical Officer will work at ECHS Polyclinic Ajmer. The Lab Technician, Pharmacist and Dental Hygienist will work at ECHS Polyclinic Bhilwara.
Q2. Can civilians apply, or is it only for ex-servicemen?
Civilians can apply for every post except Officer-in-Charge, which is 100% reserved for ex-servicemen. The ESM reservation is 60% for Medical Officer and 70% for the other three posts.
Q3. What is the salary of the Medical Officer?
The Medical Officer gets Rs. 95,000 per month. The Lab Technician, Pharmacist and Dental Hygienist each get Rs. 36,500 per month.
Q4. How long is the contract?
The contract is for one year for ex-servicemen and 11 months for civilian candidates.
Q5. What experience does a Pharmacist need?
At least 03 years of experience. The candidate must also be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
