About DLSA Karimnagar

The District Legal Services Authority, Karimnagar is the district legal services body in Karimnagar, headed by its Chairperson, who has signed this notification (Dis. No. 1619/DLSA/KNR/2026, dated 02-11-2026). The Driver recruitment is being made as per the instructions of the Hon'ble Telangana State Legal Services Authority, Hyderabad vide ROC No: 1466/TSLSA/AW/MUV/2026, Dt. 29.10.2026. The selected candidate will work in the Office of the District Legal Services Authority, Karimnagar.

Where and How to Send

The notice does not accept hand delivery: "NO APPLICATION SHALL BE RECEIVED DIRECTLY." Applications go only by post or courier, as below.

1. Fill in the prescribed application form enclosed with the notification (the form refers to the Notification No. and the post applied for).
2. Affix a recent colour passport size photograph, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, in the box on the form.
3. Sign the form and the declaration that the information given is true.
4. Attach the documents listed under Enclosures below.
5. Put the application in a sealed cover, mention "application to the post of Driver" on it, and address it to: Chairperson, District Legal Services Authority, Karimnagar -505001.
6. Send it by Registered Post/Courier only, so that it reaches before 5.00 PM on 13.11.2026.

The application form asks for: name with surname (as per certificate), father's or husband's name, date of birth and age, educational qualifications, technical qualifications, postal address with PIN code, mobile number, community, whether the candidate is PH, Local Employment Exchange registration number with date of last renewal, previous experience if any, any criminal cases, and any civil cases filed or being defended (case number, court and stage). Proof must be enclosed for date of birth, educational and technical qualifications, community, PH status and employment exchange registration.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

The DLSA Karimnagar notification has one Driver post, filled on contract basis at a remuneration of Rs.19,500/- Per Month. The appointment is initially for a period of one year or until a regular post is sanctioned, whichever is earlier. Only eligible candidates of Karimnagar District are invited.

Educational Qualification and Skills

• Must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination.
• Must be able to read and write Telugu and Urdu/Hindi or English.
• Must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license with practical experience in driving the motor vehicle for a period of not less than (3) years, with endorsement to drive Motor Cycle and auto rickshaw.
• Should possess requisite technical knowledge in computer system handling, to operate equipment such as video conferencing system, LED TVs to display short films, theme songs, etc., and public address system, generator etc.

Age Limit

As on 01.09.2026, the candidate must have completed the age of 18 years and must not have completed the age of 34 years. The relaxation of the maximum age limit in respect of SC/ST/BC/EWS is 5 years.

Conditions for Appointment

The notice states that no person shall be eligible for appointment unless he/she:

• is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defects or infirmities rendering him/her unfit for the service;
• meets the condition on character and antecedents for such service; and
• is a citizen of India.

Enclosures

The notice lists these copies of documents to be enclosed to the application by the provisionally selected candidates:

• Copies attested by a Gazetted Officer of the prescribed academic qualification certificates, such as marks list, Pass Certificates, Provisional Certificates and Testimonials.
• PGDCA or equivalent Computer Knowledge Certificate.
• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License issued by competent authority, and the experience certificate of video conferencing and public address system.
• Date of Birth Certificate.
• Community Certificate in case of SCs/STs/BCs/EWS issued by the competent authority.
• Employment Registration Card (if available).
• Certificate in terms of Local/Non-Local candidature in terms of Presidential Order 1975.
• A self-addressed registered post cover with acknowledgment as fixed by the Postal Department for RPAD.

Selection Process

There will be a test driving for the post of Driver, and the qualified candidates will be called for an oral interview. The notice also states that, depending upon the applications received, the Chairperson will decide the method of selection, and no personal information will be given to any individual regarding any stage of selection.

• Test Driving: a practical driving test for the Driver post.
• Oral Interview: only for candidates who qualify in the test driving.

Dates for the test driving and interview are not specified in the notice.

Important Instructions

• The particulars furnished in the application form will be taken as final, so the form must be filled carefully.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the journey performed in connection with the appointment.
• Mere applying to the post will not give any candidate a right to be selected.
• The application may be rejected at any stage if a claim is found false; the appointment is liable to be cancelled and applicants are liable for prosecution for furnishing false information.
• Applications with insufficient information will summarily be rejected.
• Candidates shall furnish their phone numbers for correspondence; no correspondence will be entertained in any respect.
• No information will be sent to unsuccessful candidates after the successful candidates are declared.
• The Chairperson reserves the right to cancel the notification at any stage without assigning any reason and without prior intimation.
