Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Master's degree in Biotechnology; Sound knowledge and practical experience in handling instruments used in molecular biology research
• Experience: Practical experience in handling instruments used in molecular biology research
• Age limit: Minimum will be 21 years and maximum 45 years (as on 31 December 2025)

• Selected candidate should meet the required eligibility on or before the last date of application

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Purely temporary and contractual engagement for a short-term period
• Maximum tenure 01 year, may be extended further up to 01 year based on satisfactory performance
• Two days casual leave per month, maximum 10 days paid casual leave in a calendar year
• Competent Authority may terminate the appointment on one-month prior notice without assigning any reason
• No claim to regular appointment or permanent employment at the University

How Will DSVCKV Select Candidates?

• Screening and scoring of applications as per the prescribed scorecard
• Merit list of eligible candidates uploaded on the University website
• Interview of a maximum of 10 shortlisted candidates
• Higher Secondary: 10 marks, based on percentage (70% = 7 marks)
• Gold medal 2 marks per medal, merit scholarship 1 mark each: max 06 marks
• Additional qualification (technical/computer diploma) 2 marks each, max 04; working experience 3 marks per year, max 15
• NCC/NSS/sports/cultural certificates: max 05 marks
• Interview: 20 marks; total 100 marks; maximum 10 candidates shortlisted for interview
