CSPTCL Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
Age will be calculated as on 1 January 2026. The minimum age is 18 or 21 years depending on the post, while maximum age limits vary according to post, domicile and category.
For eligible Class II posts, the upper age limit for candidates without Chhattisgarh domicile is 30 years. Most Class III and IV posts are restricted to Chhattisgarh domicile candidates. Other conditions and relaxation provisions are specified in the notification. The overall maximum age after applicable relaxation is generally capped at 45 years.

The application fee depends on the post group and candidate category. Payment must be completed online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

The recruitment process includes an online Computer-Based Test (CBT). Depending on the post, shortlisted candidates may also have to undergo an interview, physical examination, shorthand test, typing test or document verification.
CSPTCL CBT Exam Pattern 2026
The online CBT will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks, with a duration of two hours.
The examination carries negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR/OBC candidates and 30% for SC/ST candidates. The question paper will be available in English and Hindi.
