Pay and Terms

• Nature of employment: purely on contractual basis for a period of 06 months from the date of joining, extendable depending on the performance of the candidate and at the discretion of the competent authority.
• No other or additional allowances other than the consolidated salary are admissible. The appointee is not entitled to the benefits available to regular employees of AIIMS Raipur.
• The appointment can be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one month's notice or by paying one month's salary without assigning any reason, or on failure to complete the period of three months to the satisfaction of the competent authority.
• The appointee performs the duties assigned, and the competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required, with no extra allowance.
• The appointee has no right or claim to appointment on regular basis at AIIMS Raipur on any post.
• The appointee is on whole-time appointment for the project and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise, or engage in private practice of any kind during the contract.
• No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or written exam/test, or for joining.

Applications go by post and also through a Google Form. Both are required; an application not submitted through both modes will be rejected.

1. Download the application form from the website of AIIMS Raipur and fill it in the prescribed format. No change in the serial number order or the column headings is allowed; annexures may be added as separate sheets if required.
2. Attach self-attested photocopies of the certificates and the other documents listed below.
3. Write "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ................................" on the envelope.
4. Send it by speed post or registered post only to: Department of Psychiatry, National Telemanas Project, Room No. 1989, B Block, 2nd Floor, New Administrative and Academic Building, Gate No. 05, AIIMS Raipur, Tatibandh, Raipur, Pin Code 492099.
5. The application must be received on or before 30 November 2026 by 05:00 PM. The notice says it is the candidate's sole responsibility to track the application and that the undersigned is not responsible for any postal delay.

Selection Process

The applications are scrutinized by the selection committee. Recruitment is made through interview and, if necessary, a written test. The final decision on appointment rests with the competent authority only.

• If applications are many, the interview may spill over to the next day, a screening test may be held, or any other criteria may be adopted to shortlist candidates.
• The competent authority may adopt shortlisting criteria such as written test, experience, educational qualification or any other means.

Important Instructions

• Incomplete applications, applications without the prescribed format, or those received after the due date will not be considered. The application will not be accepted through any other means.
