Posts and Eligibility

Junior Research Fellow

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. (Agri.) Entomology discipline, with one year of desirable experience.
• OR Post Graduate in Basic Sciences in the relevant subjects – Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry – with one year of desirable experience.
• Pay: Rs. 27,000/- per month consolidated in the first year and Rs. 31,000/- per month consolidated in the second year, the second-year pay being subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of service.

Laboratory Assistant /Technical Assistant

• Essential: B.Sc. (Agri) with MS-CIT.
• Desirable: laboratory experience of one year of a recognized institute and knowledge of laboratory instrument handling, etc.
• Pay: Rs. 14000/- per month consolidated.

What Happens on the Day

The selection is through the walk-in interview at the Directorate of Research, VNMKV, Parbhani on 16 November 2026 at 12:00 hrs. Original documents will be verified at the time of interview/appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false information or claims at any stage, the candidature shall be summarily rejected. T.A. & D.A. will not be paid for appearing in the interview.

Terms of Engagement

• Tenure: up to 11 months or end of project, whichever is earlier.
• The appointment will be on temporary basis only; the selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any permanency or seniority for employment in the University or State Government.
• The service will be terminated after completion of the project.
• There is no provision for re-employment after completion/termination of the project, and the selected candidate shall have no claim for regular appointment, pay scale, or absorption against any regular post in the Institute.
• The selected candidate must work on a full-time basis and shall not be permitted to enrol in any academic programme during the tenure of engagement.
• The place of work will be the Department of Entomology, VNMKV, Parbhani; the candidate may be required to undertake outstation duties as per the requirements of the Project/Scheme.
• No holiday will be given except Sunday.
