"Tribhuvan" Sahkari University was established through an Act of Parliament in 2025 as an Institution of National Importance. Age Limit

The age limit is 35 years. Eligibility in every respect is determined as on the prescribed closing date for the online application.

The upper age limit is relaxed for SC, ST, OBC, Disabled and Ex-servicemen candidates as per GoI Rules. A Matriculation or Higher Secondary School Examination Certificate issued by the concerned board is valid proof of age.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Master's Degree or equivalent in any discipline from any recognised University/Institute.
• Three years' experience in a supervisory/mid-level management in HR and related roles in any Government, Autonomous Bodies, Higher Educational Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings, or holding an equivalent HR position in any reputed private organisations/consultancy firms.
• Proficiency in Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), database management, noting, drafting and preparation of minutes.
• Excellent organisational, administrative drafting and communication skills.

Experience counts only from the date of acquiring the essential qualification. Where a grading system is used instead of percentage, the result should be converted using the percentage conversion table declared by the concerned university.

Other Conditions

• Candidates must be citizens of India.
• Degrees, diplomas or certificates from an institution declared fake or derecognized by the University Grants Commission make a candidate ineligible.
• Persons dismissed by the Union Government, a State Government, a Local Authority, or a Government Corporation owned or controlled by the Central or State Government are deemed ineligible.
• Candidates must be mentally and physically fit and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with official duties, except PwBD (Divyang Candidates).

Selection Process

Selection is on the basis of overall record and performance in the interview. The stages are:

1. Scrutiny of applications: a duly constituted Scrutiny Committee may limit those called for interview to a reasonable number, based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed.
2. Screening Test: the university will hold this test to shortlist candidates as per the requirements.
3. Interview and Document Verification: original documents must be produced, and failure to do so cancels the candidature.

Meeting the minimum qualifications does not by itself give a right to be called for the screening test or interview. Applicants who are not shortlisted will not receive any correspondence. Canvassing in any form disqualifies a candidate.

Service Conditions

• The position is a three-year contract on consolidated pay.
• Selected candidates may be placed at any campus of the university, and the appointment is transferable across all campuses.
• Selected candidates may have to undergo training and pass examinations prescribed by the university from time to time.
• Terms and conditions are sent in an Offer Letter. The offer is treated as withdrawn if they are not accepted within the stipulated time.
• A medical fitness certificate from a recognized hospital specified by the university is required after selection and appointment.
• The university may verify antecedents and documents at any time, including during service. Services are liable to be terminated if documents are found to be fake or undesirable antecedents were suppressed.
• If an inadvertent mistake in the selection process is found, even after the appointment letter is issued, the university may modify, withdraw or cancel any communication, including the appointment itself.
