M.Sc./M.Tech. in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology / Renewable Energy / Physics / Chemistry / Materials Science with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Physically & Visually handicapped) or equivalent grade, plus National Eligibility Test (NET) cleared. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009 are exempted from NET.
Desirable: Ph.D. degree in Faculty of Science or Faculty of Engineering with demonstrated research experience in Renewable Energy, Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, or Materials Science supported by research publications in peer reviewed journals/patents.

The assignment is on a lecture basis carrying an honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month. The candidate must undertake that he/she will not draw any fellowship, stipend, or financial assistance from any agency while teaching at the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology as a Guest Faculty.
