Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Diploma/Degree Civil Engineer with minimum 10 years experience in thermal power plants
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in field civil works in thermal power plants
• Age limit: No upper age limit, upto 67 years

• Working hours will be office working hours of MPPGCL at Thermal Power Station.

MPPGCL Expert Civil Engineer Equivalent to EE (Civil) Job Description

• To supervise and assist with civil works of upcoming 1x660 MW units at ATPS Chachai and STPS Sarni.
• To provide technical advice to MPPGCL for civil works of existing as well as upcoming units each of 1x660 MW at ATPS Chachai and STPS Sarni, including review of designs and drawings.
• Daily monitoring of ongoing civil works and suggesting procedural improvements.
• To assist in execution and monitor compliance of civil works related to applicable environmental norms for thermal power plants.
• To analyze O&M practices adopted in relation to the civil wing in thermal power stations and provide improvement suggestions.
• To provide any other expert advice required for capital or O&M civil works of the plants.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

Remuneration is last pay drawn minus present pension, or Rs. 1.25 lakh, whichever is lesser. Where no pension rules apply, 50% of last monthly pay is treated as pension.

• Initially for one year
• Extendable on yearly basis upto 67 years of age

5. Make sure it reaches by 18 November 2026.

• The applicant must be retired from MPPGCL, Central/State Govt, or Public Sector Undertakings from EE (Civil) or equivalent/higher posts.
