Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: M.Sc. in Agriculture, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, or any other relevant discipline of Life Sciences from a recognised university/institute.
• Age limit: Maximum 35 years (as on 16 November 2026)
• Age relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently abled Usual relaxation as per Government of India rules

Other conditions:

• The position is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining.
• The Institute does not have residential facilities for contractual staff.

Desirable:

• Previous research experience in plant nanobiotechnology, plant stress physiology, and/or plant-microbe or plant-soil interactions.
• Experience in conducting pot experiments, greenhouse experiments, and field trials.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

• Duration initially till 31 March 2027 from the date of joining, which may be extended or terminated earlier based on performance and fund availability.
