The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) has 2 Research Associate positions on a purely contractual basis in its Centre for Excellence in CSR & Corporate Citizenship. One pays Rs. 40,000/- a month and the other, under the WNS Project, pays Rs. 60,000/-. The official notification does not specify the application fee.
The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Manesar, is an autonomous institution registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It provides knowledge and professional training through five Schools and eleven Centres, and its specialised areas include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The campus covers 14 acres in IMT Manesar, District Gurugram, Haryana.
The table on page 1 of the circular prints the pay of the IICA position as "Rs. 4,0000/-", while Annexure-I gives it as Rs. 40,000/-.
Pay is a consolidated monthly amount. No Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, medical facilities or other compensation packages are admissible. Increments and leave follow the policy of the Institute.
Age limit: Upto 63 years as on the closing date of the advertisement. This condition may be relaxed in the case of an exceptional candidate.
Citizenship: The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
The same requirements are printed for both positions.
The circular treats the last date for applications as the crucial date for eligibility, qualifications, experience and age. Having the minimum qualification does not by itself entitle a candidate to a presentation or interview, and provisional claims about eligibility will not be accepted. See the official notification for the full eligibility conditions of each post.
Both positions carry the same responsibilities:
The date and time of the presentation and/or interview will be communicated separately, and IICA will communicate only with shortlisted candidates. Final results will be published on its website after the recruitment process ends. IICA's decision on eligibility, rejection of applications, equivalence of qualifications and the mode of selection is final and binding.
Documents to attach (self-attested copies):
Any inconsistency between documents must be explained. Documents with corrections, alterations or tampering must not be submitted. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
The circular lists a separate Google Form for each serial number. In its table of posts, Sl. No. 1 is the IICA position and Sl. No. 2 is the WNS Project position.
The circular describes 1-3 years' experience in research or data analysis, including internships and research assistantships, as "a plus".
Yes. Travel to field areas across India for data collection, meetings and business development is listed as a must.
Excel is a must, and proficiency with MS Word is also expected. SPSS, R or similar tools are desirable, as is experience with infographics software for presentations.
No. The consolidated pay of Rs. 40,000/- or Rs. 60,000/- is the full monthly payment, and HRA and medical facilities are specifically excluded.
No. The circular states that no TA/DA shall be permissible for attending the interview.
No. Originals should be produced at the presentation and/or interview. An application received without the copies of the required certificates will be rejected, with no appeal against the rejection.
No interim correspondence or personal enquiries will be entertained. IICA will also not correspond with candidates about the reasons for non-selection.
Any dispute arising from this recruitment is subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts in Haryana.
