Medical Fitness Certificate from a Govt. Civil Surgeon before joining
Desirable:
Retired Government Engineers having experience in building construction and maintenance will be given preference
Who Cannot Apply for ESIC Recruitment 2026

Pay and Terms of Engagement
Retired Central / State Government employees (JE / AE / EE) get last drawn Basic Pay minus pension drawn.
Initial period not exceeding one year, extendable by one more year subject to satisfactory performance
Total period shall not exceed two years and shall not go beyond the age of 65 years
Extension is not automatic and confers no right to renewal
May be terminated by either side on one month's notice
Purely contractual; no right to regular appointment, regularisation, seniority or promotion
