The post is for Department of Tashreeh-wa-Munafeual Aza, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, AMU, Aligarh. Qualification required: Postgraduate degree in the concerned specialty or subject from a recognized university, included in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 or recognized under section 35 of the Act, with valid State or Central/National registration (as per Gazette Notification No. 764 dated 26th September, 2024). The candidate must have qualified the National Teachers Eligibility Test conducted by NCISM. No teaching experience is required. Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree in the concerned specialty or subject from a recognized university, included in the Second Schedule of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 or recognized under section 35 of the Act; Valid registration with the concerned State Board or Council, or a valid Central or National registration certificate issued by the Board of Ethics and Registration for Indian System of Medicine, NCISM (not applicable for teachers of non-medical qualifications); For the specialties in the notice table, a Postgraduate degree in Unani medicine in the related specialty listed in column three is considered eligible; Qualified in the National Teachers Eligibility Test conducted by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine
• Experience: No teaching experience is required

Other conditions:

• Post is reserved for the 'OH' category of PwD candidates
• PwD applicants must have at least 40% of the relevant disability, with a Disability Certificate on the prescribed Proforma (Appendix-I)
• Indian Nationals, including OCI Cardholders under Section-7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955, may apply
• Candidates with an NCISM Teacher's Code must provide it at the time of the interview
• New candidates must present the NTET AYUSH certificate along with the scorecard

Who Cannot Apply for AMU Recruitment 2026

• Forms without self-attested copies of the required documents will be summarily rejected

How to Apply for AMU Recruitment 2026 Online

1. Fill the Application Form only in Online Mode at the Careers Portal https://careers.amuonline.ac.in by 14.11.2026.
2. Pay the non-refundable Processing Fee of Rs. 500/- online at the Careers Portal; PwD candidates uploading an authentic Disability Certificate are exempted.
3. Take a printout of the PDF of the Application Form on A-4 size paper, sign it and paste a recent front-facing photograph.
4. Attach attested copies of all relevant documents to the printout.
5. Send the form by post, writing the post applied for, advertisement number and date on the top-left of the cover.
6. Hard copy must reach the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, AMU, Aligarh 202001 by 21.11.2026, 04.00 PM.
