AIIMS Jodhpur Research Assistant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

The Department of Community Medicine and Family Medicine, AIIMS Jodhpur, has invited applications for one Research Assistant post in the National AIDS Control Organization-funded project "Integrated Bio-Behavioral Surveillance among High Risk Group (HRG) and Clients of FSW", on a purely temporary basis up to 31.03.2027 with a consolidated pay of Rs. 31,000 per month. The essential qualification is a Master's in public health, Sociology, Social work, Anthropology, Microbiology, Zoology or Health Science (or equivalent), or a graduate degree in the same fields with three years of work experience. About the Project

The post is in an Extramural Research Project titled "HIV Surveillance and Epidemiology activities under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP)", meant for the IBBS Survey. Who Can Apply

The notice gives two alternative essential qualifications for the Research Assistant post:

• Master's in public health, Sociology, Social work, Anthropology, Microbiology, Zoology or Health Science, or equivalent.

All educational, professional and technical qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University and full-time. Experience must be acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualification required for the post. Age, education qualification and experience will be considered till the last date of the advertisement. The notice prints no age limit, but says age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects may be admissible for experienced and skilled persons on a case to case basis. Pay and Tenure

The emolument is Rs. 31,000/- per month, fixed and consolidated. AIIMS Jodhpur Research Assistant Job Description

• Coordination of project activities (meetings, trainings, data collection and other field work) under the supervision of the Project Coordinator/PI.
• Coordination with concerned authorities at state level.
• Comprehensive planning, implementation and timely completion of fieldwork, which includes visiting hot spots and conducting interviews of the HRG group, FGDs and KII.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the nodal officer from time to time.
• Survey sites will be in any district of Rajasthan, so the selected candidate would be posted accordingly.
